Persimmon Maca Turmeric Smoothie


A sweet, autumnal smoothie to boost your brains and metabolism.

Ingredients

  • 1 persimmon
  • 1/2 banana (frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon maca
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger, or 1 inch fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup almond milk, or other plant-based milk
  • flax seed, mulberries, goji berries (optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender. Pour over into a glass, add toppings and drink!
