Almond Butter
Making your own almond butter is a breeze! All you need is a bunch of almonds, raw or roasted, and a food processor. Optionally, you can add additional ingredients to make it your own. Look below for photos of the process!
Ingredients
- 2 cups almonds, raw or roasted
Instructions
- Add the almonds to a food processor and blend for about 10 minutes, scraping down the sides every now and then, until completely smooth.
Notes
- Roasted almonds will blend much more easily (and taste better in my opinion), but you can use raw almonds if you prefer! If you have raw almonds but you want to roast them preheat your oven to 175°C and roast them on a parchment-lined tray for 10-15 minutes.
- Some optional add-ins to make this almond butter even better are vanilla extract, cacao powder, dates, maple syrup, a pinch of salt, or cinnamon – or a combination!
